The moment we've all been waiting for!
Because Hazel insists on proving me wrong at every turn, only one baby! I was right though that this chunky little boy almost caused a heap of issues!

Ok, been talking about this on another thread, but thought I'd put a quick update here for those who've been following along.
Hazel had an emergency vet visit yesterday. There was apparently a second baby. Unfortunately no that baby was not alive, but Hazel needed urgent medical care to try and prevent issues. She's settle at home now and it's a monitoring game, hopefully recovery goes smoothly and there's no more issues

Yes! I have a trio of California Valley quail. I've found them so much harder to keep then coturnix, but they're gorgeous!
Thanks! I brought it second hand so am just fixing it up. It'll be an extension to the one they're currently in, but likely a "grow out" during breeding season.

Cool! California valley quail look awesome. I’ve only ever kept coturnix but love them
