I have three broodies crammed in the same nest I'm going to be splitting them up as the eggs are due soon.

One of the quail successfully brooded and hatched two babies! They've been both practicing their flying.

They are so cute! what breed are they? They look like barnevelders to me. I've been trying to cox my hens to go broody but they always have to wait till the most inconvenient times...

Yes, they are Barnevelders! I've got too many chickens trying to brood at once right now, I'd appreciate it if they spaced it out!
