Thanks for all the nice comments. Buugette, it was in good condition inside when we bought it except one ugly bathroom. The bank put $50,000.00 into interior remodeling the month before we bought it.

No drumstick diva, you cannot have a pony. But we are looking at a donkey today!

Our irrigation is going now and the property is starting to green up nicely. Here are some updated pictures:

We had to cover the chicken yard with netting to keep the hawks out!

Looky what we got today! His name is Jack and he is a five year old gelding. BTW he hates coyotes!

Here is DH with hum when we went to meet him.

The people were kind enough to deliver him 54 miles to us since we don't have a stock trailer yet. Here is is at home with us.

I am trying to teach him that when my arms are crossed I don't have any treats!

He's so pretty and oh so BIG! All the donkeys I've seen are the little ones. I'm gonna bring that boy a carrot, or an apple! I'll be his friend in a jiffy! And Michael looks so happy to have him!
