My three Australorps look so much alike that I just call them the triplets, even though they have names: Wordy, Birdie and Gertie. Someone said a comb is like a fingerpriint and I should be able to tell them apart that way. I've never taken a close look to find out. They are the most aloof of all my chickens.[/QUOT
My Astrolorps have different combs and make different sounds when they talk. Like they have different sounding voices. That mainly how I tell them apart. Also one is more freindly than then rest.

You just have to study what they look like awhile. And you realise they all look quite different.

Day 23 CLUCKMAZING FACT~ Protoporphyrin IX, which is one of the organic compounds that makes the brown coloration on eggshells, glows red under UV light!!!
