I started treating my flock with corid 5 days ago due to brooder chicks being lethargic and finding bloody poop in my adult flock. Its day 5 and I am still finding blood in my adult flock, despite no one showing any other symptoms and being on treatment.

Is this actually shedding of the intestinal lining or cecal poop instead of cocci?

I've heard of blood in poop days after treatment and usually it was figured to be their intestines were damaged and shedding that. They will heal though and it eventually stopped.

I would follow up with probiotics. We ferment grains, but also have used sugar-free Greek yogurt, or Hydro Hen in their water. You can also use ACV w/ mother (1 Tablespoon per gallon of water) but only do that every other day.

See how that goes in a couple days and I'd think they'd be pooping fine then. I hope so!
