Cochin Babies

Hello All!

I got 17 babies from Cackle Hatchery. I ordered Buff, Barred and Partridge Cochins. 3 of my barreds don't look like the rest of them. They are much lighter in color almost a light gray. Are they still barred or did a couple Blue Cochin sneak in? They have dotted and striped eyes like the Barred so I'm at a loss.

That's what I'm saying! Kinda bummed there's a chance I didn't get what I paid for.

Did you call Cackle yet? Most places have a policy that they are free if it wasn't what you ordered. The only thing that improves wrong birds is free birds.

So the consensus I'm seeing is everyone does think they might be blue... so I'm not crazy!

Not crazy just up three blue Cochins

Cackle hatchery said the light ones are the boys
