Well I rehomed the lighter ones and kept the darker and based on the feathers coming in I believe I got females.

Hello All!

I got 17 babies from Cackle Hatchery. I ordered Buff, Barred and Partridge Cochins. 3 of my barreds don't look like the rest of them. They are much lighter in color almost a light gray. Are they still barred or did a couple Blue Cochin sneak in? They have dotted and striped eyes like the Barred so I'm at a loss.

I have never had barred Cochins but have raised blues and self blue. None of them ever had stripes.
