Hello, I am not a Canadian but I don't want you left out!

If you look it up you'll probably find some places or you could ship

.

Just remember if shipping across the border, there are lots of rules and regulations that you have to follow. I believe you can take chickens across the border, but you will have to physically drive them if I am not mistaken. You will have to get paperwork and probably be inspected at the border. Jamie Matts isn't too far from you. He's near Syracuse, NY. He has lovely birds. It would be a two day trip. I think you might be able to get the birds mailed to a closer border post office. You would go and pick them up and then drive them across. You'll have to do a lot of research into it.

Good luck.

I want a roo; I need him to be smooth.
Currently, my CBF hen will be mating with my SLW roo (he's not old enough yet) or (less likely) my GLW x white Leghorn roo.
At least the SLW should give me interesting coloring with her white. =)

Hope you find the chickens you're looking for!
I ended up with a CBF pullet accidentally, but she's my favorite and the only pet chicken in my flocks. =)

Thanks for the info, all ! I believe I found a breeder out west; I have emailed them and am awaiting their reply !

I know the rules and regulations around crossing the border with poultry are tight, I hear it can be done but there's some "red tape" to go through first. If I can find some in Canada that will be the easiest. :)

Yeah, and happier for the chicks because chicks going across the border could affect their health.

Hi all... Looking to see if there are any fellow Canadians on here that may know where I can acquire some Cochin Bantam Frizzles :)

I only have a few frizzys and mostly cochins.... but to bad your not closer to the Blue Water Bridge. I live only 45 min west of that off I-69 in Michigan. I have eggs and chicks (soon).
