Cochin Bantams and Frizzle Cochin Bantams!!

is the little black and white on one the far left going to be black? that is what mine looks like except she is frizzley......not bad considering she is from the assorted banty bin at Tractor Supply!
Yes, that one will end up all black but she is a Sumatra not a Cochin.

The partridge is my only Cochin right now.

2 weeks ago I got these eggs from a near by farmer. just to enjoy the mystery of not knowing what I was going to get. I had them in an incubator for 2 weeks. they were doing fine and then Daphne went broody.
so she got the eggs. I think 9 is a bit much for her some were cool even though she was on them, she is a bantam cochin.

I had given this roo away and had hoped to borrow him, he passed on yesterday so the lady brought me some of the eggs he fertlized, I put them in an incubator.
I also tossed in a couple of frizzle/cochin mix eggs in incubator- as the upper eggs hatch I will remove the chicks so mom keeps sitting, and put down these other eggs in one week and she can finish up. these

Does anyone here know what color this lil fattie will be when he (I assume it's a he because it's 1 1/2 - 2 weeks old and has almost no feathering) gets his feathers in? I picked him from the bantam bin at IFA...he was the fluffiest (and fattest) one they had. I was hoping for a frizzle....but I doubt he is one.
And is it normal for them to be this fat? His lil silkie, polish, and turken friends are waaaay skinnier than him.

These are when he was a few days old...

gray or splash, the small turned splash- the fuzzy grey one turned white.

Is it okay to ask if the poopy bummed one was just pooping?

I have some pictures of my 8.5 week old Cochins. Can anyone tell me whether they're Bantams and whether each is pullet/cockerel?
This is the best place I've found to get accurate info about Cochin Bantams on BYC!!! Many thanks to all those who have helped me!!!

Now the chick pictures; I'm posting them as small b/c there's two of each chick (and I have a few more of my Frizzle Cochin Bantam)
PS: Don't be fooled by the names, we don't think the genders of all the names are accurate; we named them according to size and personality when they were about a week old.

My Frizzle Cochin Bantam just finished a brood. She got cocci toward the end and ultimately abandoned the eggs she had left. It was not a great experience for either of us, but at least we both have our first brood under our belts and hopefully we'll both do better in the future. At any rate, she looks terrible!!! The reason I had her in the brooder to begin with was that she suddenly went bald overnight and I didn't want her to continue to be picked on. She's missing feathers from the back of her neck and I know that's b/c my jr. roo tries to mate with her, but she's not in the mood and she's molting so she's not laying. Anyway, here's what she looks like:
I used small again b/c I have so many pics in this post. Sorry about that (both small and so many).

Her bare front and underside (breast and belly area)

She's bald and has her head pulled down into what few neck feathers she has left.

She's not happy. =(
Oh, and here's what she looked like before brooding.

Every time she moves, she loses at least one feather. Literally!

a lady gave me these eggs the dad was either a smooth bantam with charcoal frizzle gene or a blue andelusian. one of the browns were clear the others are developing- I know it is not good to try and hatch wrinkled eggs but I will see how it goes. the mom of the wrinked egg is a Coocoo maran/bantyEE/silky, the small green is a charcoal frizzle mom. in incubator currently, will put under broody on Tue. I also tossed in a bantam cochin/blue slash frizzle mix and another Blue splash of some sort.
