I have a rooster that was brave and friendly liked to be held- now he is in puberty and he is not mean just doesn't want me to hold him.
Our little guy is so curious and not at all intimidated by anything. We have him and a silkie that are banties in the hatch and we have Dorkings with them which are growing so much faster and will be so much bigger and he doesn't mind facing off with them. It is really funny. I just hope they establish their pecking order early because I don't want the Dorkings to squish him.It happens, all go through a slight rebellion stage, the good ones become friendly again. just hang in there.
Looks like a salmon-ish color.
