Sorry I worded that wrong. I meant how nice their feathering and conformation is lolidk mine was sweet from the second she hatched :3
There are certain things that may be evident at that age and may be used to rule out or in a particular bird, but for the most part yes, 3 months is too young. Certain issues with wings, and foot feathering may be evident, but unless you are experienced with evaluation, it would be best to wait until closer to 9 mo or a year.Sorry I worded that wrong. Oh ok thank you. I have been trying to pick a rooster to keep and I didn't want to get rid of one that may turn out to be nicer than the rest! There are certain things that may be evident at that age and may be used to rule out or in a particular bird, but for the most part yes, 3 months is too young. It's genetics. European Cochins from their top breeders are superior to many of our varieties.Hello, is there anything special in nutrition...a special program? birds imported from abroad are large ...breeders say they have a special program, but did not say![]()
Hungary and Romania are part of Europe. Ask them. I have a friend in Serbia and belong to a club that is working on importing eggs. I can assure you that the amount of size you are referring to is genetic. Nutrition can help a bird, or any animal, achieve it's full potential, but it can not change the actual size. Unless we are talking about the difference between animals that have been starved vs. proper nutrition. I don't think you're saying that we starve our birds over here.no, are purchased from Hungary and Romania...the food is something?
