Cochin Thread!!!

Here's a picture the more I look at it I think I can see the second shorter row. It hard to tell In these pictures though, she wasn't too happy with me messing with her.

I am just getting into having bantam cochins. I have one mottled cochin pullet that has a black comb. is that frowned upon?
She is on the left in the picture.

I think someone already mentioned eggs - also plain yogurt and raw meat (my birds love raw hamburger!) Raw, chopped liver is also very good for them.

They are the same bird she was born early this morning so maybe it's hard to tell because its not exactly a day old maybe?

Ohh really I guess it's just because of the angle the picture is at. We could more than likely tell in a week if you wouldn't mind waiting?

I thought there was only a 3 day period you had to wing sex? I certainly can wait though, out of my 6 chickens 3 have turned out to be Roos and I've gotten 2 more to replace them, surely hoping my luck can the that bad!

Well we could just wait b/c my Roos had extremely short wing feathers and no tail coming up.
