my friend here has 2 roos and 3 hens and they get along fine

The only problem I have had with roosters is them not wanting new chickens brought in. Not friendly at all to them.

Sometimes it is possible yes. But usually not.

Out of my 14 bantams, only 5 of them are girls. The other 9 boys overall do ok with each other. They have their periodic squabbles, but they roost together. I know I have a definite 2 lf cockerels; possibly a 3rd. So far so good with the lfs, too.

My Blueberry took on a hawk last Thursday. I am so proud of him protecting his hens. He went after the hawk while my wyandotte roo called out the alarm and herded in the girls. Those boys are making quite the pair. Everyone is fine. Just a close call. We now have precautions set for the hawks. Here are my flock heros......

I am hoping to breed them. Here he is with his girl.... They aren't perfect by any means, but they are fluffy and I can pick them both up for cuddles with no issues. He spent 3 months away from us with no handling and I can still scoop him up. I love their personalities. I hope you find some. You won't regret it.
