Wow . . . that was fast! It was just last weekend you were looking for one. So glad Lynne was able to help. He looks great! Be sure and keep us posted on his progress. Did you get on a waiting list for a hen for him?

I emailed Lynne the same day I got the referral and got to talking back and forth with her...I loved the pictures she sent to me, and when she offered him to me, it was a no brainer. His coloring is amazing and his temperament is very sweet too!! We are on her list for a hen in the spring.... My husband has named him Rockytop, and he seems to be very content and happy, but I think he will be even happier when we are able to integrate him in with our girls...
Thank you to all of you who have helped me on my quest to find this odd color!!!!!
More pix will follow!
Are there any big Cochin shows in the Eastern half of the US?

How close are you to Frederick, Maryland? I think there is a very large district Cochin meet there Nov. 6-7, at the Maryland State Poultry Fanciers Show.

Woah - I will be in Baltimore for the National Middle School Association Convention that weekend - Is that near where the Poultry show is being held?
NO NO NO, I COULD NOT slip away from a bunch of teachers to go look at chickens! But Cochins are so much prettier.

I'll bet some of those teachers would love to slip away with you for a field trip - it would be very educational.
