I emailed Lynne the same day I got the referral and got to talking back and forth with her...I loved the pictures she sent to me, and when she offered him to me, it was a no brainer. His coloring is amazing and his temperament is very sweet too!! We are on her list for a hen in the spring.... My husband has named him Rockytop, and he seems to be very content and happy, but I think he will be even happier when we are able to integrate him in with our girls...

Are there any big Cochin shows in the Eastern half of the US?

I am about 9 hours from Frederick, but have lots of friends and family there, so that may be very possible! Thanks for the info!

Woah - I will be in Baltimore for the National Middle School Association Convention that weekend - Is that near where the Poultry show is being held?
NO NO NO, I COULD NOT slip away from a bunch of teachers to go look at chickens! But Cochins are so much prettier.

Frederick is an easy drive from Baltimore, about an hour to an hour and 1/2.....It will be fun!
