It should, how cold do you get, we have gotten down to the -20's with -40 wind chills, they obviously avoid the wind chills but the coop gets cold.

That's why when some people say it's going to get cold, down to 30, I kinda laugh a bit, that's a warm winter day around here. Thankfully those temperatures are cold snaps, lasting days to a couple of weeks, I'm sure there are places that is normal.

That is seriously the cutest chicken I have ever seen. His beak is so short! CUTENESS WARNING!!!!!

I'm new to Cochins and got this chick from a mixed flock. Any ideas whether it's a he or she? It's 5 weeks and is very slow growing compared to the other birds (that were not Cochins). I'm guessing roo??
