Maybe some predator has been getting into your coop? Are there anyways that you see are either broken and/or predator accessible?

Hi! I breed Blue Buff LF Cochins. I sell eggs & can ship. PM me if you're interested. Thanks!Hi I'm new here. Trying to locate some LF cochins. Eggs, chicks or adults. Don't have to be show quality. I'm looking a some that will be good mothers. I am in Connecticut but am willing to travel. Please pm if you know of any. Thanks
The rouen was her brooder mate and so she was guiding her around the front yard the other day during her exercise time outside.Give her tim. I have a rooster that has one eye and gets around great...free ranges too. Other one -eyed birds I've had over the years become very successful. They learn to keep their blind side away from trouble. They learn their routines and partially rely on the other birds in their flock. I actually had a totally blind hen that lived a healthy life for two years after going blind. She knew where her water and feed containers were, could go outside to eat grass with supervision and had two buddy hens on the roost.
yeah my mom and i are going to the flea Market soon to trade in a bunch of roosters. and i'm going to get me a couple of cochin hens to breed with my cochin rooster. so fingers crossed for some cochin babies soon!I wish it was not so nasty and your were not under the weather the other day, I wold have loved to meet your flock. I'm so excited about my Cochin babies. Chicken fever is a very real thing for all of those naysayers, I love my chickens and my new duck babies.
