I have not shown before but I do see quite a few cochins ( bantam & LF) at shows. They seem to do well. Good luck to you!

I have two mixed young hens right now. Half EE. Very pretty and they lay green eggs! I'll try to get some pictures soon.

Hello, I'm getting two Cochins in 23 days ( I am so exited that I have one of those paper chains on my wall) I am going to put it in a coop with my 5 yr old Polish and my 1 yr old Faverolles when it's older, should I not do that? My Polish is pretty docile but will they still not get along?

These two are cracking me up. One spends her day keeping the others from "her" nest-box, and the other spends her day stuffing straw into her tail and talking about how great it looks. O _0 lol

I'm looking forward to showing my LF White Cochin and Birchen Cochin Bantam (When it arrives!) this summer. Though I do not have any blues, I wish you good luck!

Congratulations! If you follow the biosecurity and safe introductions they should do great. I have never had a cochin (except giant cochins) who didn't get along with every one. That being said they are prone to being picked on by more assertive birds or birds who have established their turf. If you need more info on quarantine and flock integrating their are great links here on BYC and most of us love sharing our experiences hint hint pick me pick me lol
