I have bantams and it works well. Never raised LF so I can't help you out there

My first standard Cochins! I bought this nice pair today, I have a chick hatched a couple days ago, hoping for a pullet but another rooster would be cool too. They will be yard pets, I can't wait to see them wandering across the back yard......in the "green grass".
I don't know if they're up to the standard but they're certainly eye candy to me. Here they are investigating their new barn

Thanks, they have a couple months or so to settle in and learn where they live then they get to spend their time out in the back yard then in the barn to roost.

Thanks! First eggs are very exciting.

She is my first Cochin, but I have more coming in the spring. I just love how friendly and fluffy they are. I have read that they are good mamas too.
