I think #3 may be a pullet it's really hard to tell from pics and not in person. Could you show some pics of their backs and spread out wing feathers?

My guess is, from the left, chick #3 is a pullet, the rest are cockerels. VERY cute!

does anyone have any pics of columbian pattern at about 8 weeks of age give or take? I would like to see the patterns of the neck, feet, tail, and wings and also down color

Is there something that I can use to easily identify LF Cochins? I'm interested in something that is visible enough that I can tell which is which by just looking in the pen and not having to handle the birds and preferably something I don't have to keep changing out. Right now, I have a couple of older pullets to ID but (hopefully) will be having chicks and would like to be able to ID them to track growth and development.

What are the sexes on my 3-4 week old Bantam Cochins ?

#1 - Splash Chick - I think pullet

#2 - Blue/Black/Mottled/Splash Chick - I think pullet, not certain on color though LOL !

#3 - Blue Or Black Chick - I'm almost 100% sure I have a cockerel.

I'm also posting this on the what breed or gender is this ?
