Mine are getting fat fast, now 11 days old. I took new pics of each yesterday. I'll post them this week. What are the differences between the pin feathers of the sexes at this age because 4 of mine have longer ones? does that mean I have 4 boys?

that bird has almost the same color pattern as my blue laced red cochin project birds. I'm thinking that they may turn out with a columbian pattern then

I don't really care what it ends up like I really think they're pretty and whatever pattern they come out with is still going to be interesting. I'm having a lot of fun just watching them grow up

I have found that feather sexing at a few days old seems to be about 90% accurate at least on cochins. It does not work on all breeds and I know that serama and d'uccles are two that it doesn't work on.

If that is the case, I have 4 pullets and 1 cockerel. What ever the case I just love them all I am the Typhoid Mary of Cochin Fever.
Twice a year, The Oklahoma BYC folks have POOPS - People of Oklahoma Poultry Swap and already some want Mille Cochins. Most of them don't have Cochins to swap with me and I have little interest in any other breed except fot LF Cochins. They are tecnically a different breed.
Who raises barred bantams?

Pardon my ignorance but does this apply to bantam as well as LF? I seem to recall a discussion regarding it not working on bantams. Thanks!

I have bantams and it works well. Never raised LF so I can't help you out there
