Cochin Thread!!!

Cochins are one of my favorite of the breeds. I have only had bantams

Here are a few:

This is a 4-5 week old blue splash cockerel. I also just had a baby hatch yesterday:

I can't keep boys here once they start crowing so I can't keep the top guy but hoping the new chick is a little girl

I got them from Ideal in January and they are my first frizzled cochins. I know BC has sparse feathers and can't be in the sun. Preach is a little better since he has down in between his feathers.
I was going to try breeding Sizzles, but now I'm not sure I should use them.

Doesn't look partridge to me. Closer to a gold birchen color...that specific color escapes me right now...ARG!

Cochins are so graceful and move smoothly across the grass...as if they are gliding rather than walking. They are some of the most beautiful flowers in my garden
