Cochin Thread!!!

I Love this thread as it has given me a better idea of what my little fuzz balls will grow up to look like. I had never seen them before and got them from an add on CL. Here they are at 5 days old. I think I have black, blue, splash and a single buff. They are the LF variety.

Empty nester - your chicks are so cute! I'm getting a little sad as my "chick" days are coming to a close and I'm going to have to stick with what I have for awhile now.

I can't keep roos, so as I'm thinning out my flock if this one is a boy then I need to find him a new home and save the room for the girlies. When I first posted pics of this one a while back most people said "roo". A couple weeks later everyone said "pullet".

At 8 weeks, what do you all think now? I know the stance may look roo, but it was desperate to get back to the flock and was trying to see over to the coop.

Pullet

x2!! I'm sticking with what I said a few weeks ago - Pullet! The placement and appearance of the lacing pattern on GL's is different in the males vs females. That's definitely female lacing.

Not a problem. Cochinman should post some of his. He has much better examples.
