I know Vulture hocks are an instant DQ in Cochins. At what age would they be evident in Cochins? Any info would be appreciated. Thanx!

I just purchased two new cochin pullets on friday and wanted to show you all!!

This is Zoe. She is the darker blue. She also is the only one laying and she has a bit of a big comb IMO from what ive seen of other cochin pullets

This is Claire. She is the lighter of the two. She is also a bit sweeter, and she hasnt started to lay.

My sweet, beautiful Kiwi (7 months old) - she lays a beautiful cream egg 6 days a week and is the most gentle, fluffy bird I've ever met!

She has a sprained leg though and it's not getting better so I'll bring her to the avian vet in a few days... they don't treat chickens but I won't tell them what kind of bird she is until I get there, how could they then refuse to treat her??
