I have been trying to find someone with Birchens~ I only have the one roo and one hen. Do you have anything available? Your roo is gorgeous!

lilcrow has birchens and I know her original stock came from a good breeder. The president of Cochins International has some good birchens. I saw them at a show this year.

I don't think Candiss has Partridge - but she does have beautiful Lemon Blues. The Partridge might have been from lilcrow. Black Cochin Bantams has some (Partridge), but I don't know if he has any available yet.

It might be tough if you don't want to have birds shipped in. But there are 2 Cochins International members in Missouri that raise numerous varieties of quality Cochins - mostly bantams.

They are not BYC members, so you will have to send me a PM if you'd like there names.

Thanks, Lilcrow! that's it. . They were really nice

It always feels good to hear nice things about my birds. I just now am getting caught up with the thread after being gone for a few days and I'm sorry to say that I have no Partridges for sale at this time. I just lost my nicest, darkest hen and I'm devastated about it. I don't know how I'll ever replace her. I'm afraid I don't have many chicks from her. I also don't have any Birchens YET. I will have in a month or so, as soon as they settle down and I can really make some decisions. I'm not going to keep any roos, (I don't THINK) and I believe only 1 pullet, so there may be something available soon.
Thanks again for keep me in mind........everyone...........you too Gail.

My only chick that hatched is a Black Cochin. She hatch 3 days ago! We bought 4 chicks of different species yesterday to keep her company. Anyway, she's sitting on my shoulder and keeps biting my neck!

I love Midnight though! She's so sweet! She runs to me when I clap my hands!

Hey guys n gals. Here's updated pics of 2 of my ladies.

Ivory: she has just started to lay

OREO: it's amazing how much they change, she had heavy mottling on her chest and barely any on her body, now it's becoming more uniform. She has very heavily feathered feet and legs, the only way I can see her feet is to scoop her up, and I do so about 2x a week to make sure nothings going on with them. I'm really looking forward to chicks from her and my black mottled frizzle roo.
