Cochin Thread!!!

If anyone may be interested, I have some birds available. I dont have any boxes, but can get some and ship, weather permitting. Have Red, White, and Blue/Splash available of various ages. The only birds that are of quality are the Whites, the Reds are what I am not keeping for my project. These are not mixes, are from two Red parents, also have an adult pair of Reds. The Whites I have were my breeders last year, and I also have several good looking young cockerels. The Blue/Splash are decent birds, would make good breeders, but wouldnt call them great. If your interested, just get with me. Have a great weekend all!

List of what I can remember I have:
6-8 Red Pairs (couple frizzles)
3 Blue/Splash Pairs (one Blue frizzle pullet, all others are smooth)
2 White Pairs (smooth males, frizzle females)
6-8 White Cockerels (2 frizzles, some will be good birds)

Have also been back and forth about selling 'Henry', the bird in my avatar, but would like him to go to someone who would breed him and want to better their own flock.

Why don't you contact him for birds then? I know he ships birds and commonly has birds for sale on several of the auction sites.

Do you have to sell your reds in pairs? I still want a red frizzle off you. But I can't have a roo right now, only pullets.
At this point, yes. I have several extra cockerels already, and offering only pullets will leave me with even more. I have several Whites from this Spring that I still cant get rid of. They are too good to just cull, but if I cant find them homes I will cull every extra cockerel I have.

Mostly completed my pens today and moved 7 pens of birds out of the old shed.

I will soon be thinning the coop down to next years breeders. I will have some pairs available. No single hens or pullets. Silver Penciled and Columbian for sure and perhaps some young Buff Columbians. Not sure if I let any of those go this year. I do have a more complete set of pictures at https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/719671/new-building-for-my-birds/30#post_10060068:
