Ok, here is #6. The good thing about having chickens in the shop is I can go out there whenever to take pictures.

So, from the article it looks like a weak wing maybe? Or would that be split wing? That was a very informative article though, thanks for sharing.

Heres some pictures of my Cochins! Hatchery stock....but I love them!

What should I do about this! He keeps picking his feathers out and the other birds do also! Theres no blood.....but the feathers kinda come in and then they are picked out! He took a long time to get the feathers he has in.....

Okay, after further reasearch, I believe that those girls have spilt wing. I guess I will have to find them good homes, thankfully they are pullets and bantams so it should be easy.

I'm afraid I agree with you. When a wing is that obvious in the closed position, it doesn't bode well.

Yikes! Are they pecking each other? Could they be bored? Or maybe mites? I am new to to cochins, so have no advice, but I am sure there are people on here who will have an answer for you.

Thoughts on the color pattern of this bantam cochin? I'm pretty sure it's a roo-- or a REALLY dominant hen.
