I believe barred do (E, Ba, possibly S), but the silver laced do NOT. silver laced is eb (plus Pg, Ml, Co and S)

Barred cochins are built on the EE(Extended black) base, silver or gold laced are generally build on the Eb or brown base, the same as partridge and silver pencilled.

You could but I believe that you would get more birds with vulture hocks
