Cochin Thread!!!

Lovely, I loved seeing my chicks with their adoptive mum, so sweet

Dotty is an adoptive to 9 chicks, 5 little ones and 4 bigger ones (she has 4 littlies poking out with 1 biggie) there were 10 eggs altogether, the other egg was another littlie but when she left it and I checked it wasn't fertile so I got 9 from 9, all were given to me for free
That is the cutest picture EVER!!!! I love all the colors you have there...and the fact that the "biggie" is front and center under momma!!!!

The biggie is actually towards the back and is grey, my other littlie is very similar to the little black one and the other 3 biggies are 1 brown with golden head, silver/grey with golden head and silver grey with asmall amount of gold around the eyes

Can anyone make heads or tails of these? Day 22 under broody. No movement since yesterday. Vessels look empty close to air sac.On the second picturethere is a spot that looks like blood. I dont want to be hasty, but momma needs to stretch her legs. She rolledback under after I checked it. She hasnt kicked it out.no internal pip.

Not sure on the little chicks color. It almost looks like it is black with red in it's face. It has extremely fuzzy legs and feet.
It is possibly mixed with lavender orpington or white rock but could also be full cochin.
Anyone have any idea what color this chick is?

My DH loves the white one, but again not enough hens, so he might need a new home.

One of my bantam frizzles next to one of my standard blue cochin chicks who is almost 6 weeks. Anyone able to tell what gender the blue one is? I have another one that is a tad bit smaller and the comb is smaller. This one feathered out faster than the other and they are only a day difference in age..Ill go get a pic of the other one.
