Yay! I'm glad everyone is doing great!!!!!

So pretty! I just put blue bantam cochin eggs in my bator!!!! Will let my broody take over as soon as I know air cells are stable...eggs were shipped.

Okay I look at that blue Cochin (adorable btw) and wonder if my Cochin is really a silver laced or a blue? Thoughts from those of you with more experience???

Sure is gorgeous! Meyer called & said the Siver Laced I was supposed to receive tomorrow didn't hatch out. Ooh, I REALLY wanted her! Xena will have to be my sole chickety-china, the Chinese chicken.

Thanks for clearing that up. He is the only Cochin we have I may have to get some blue girls for him. I love how friendly he is. I do think he has vulture hocks though. But I think he is still pretty to look at

I have a black cochin rooster with a black cochin & silver lace cochin and here is photos of the chick that hatched late last night/wee hours this morning.

another chick hatched another silver lace cochin, and have 2 black cochins just hatched and 1 eggs left to hatch is all

at hatch, my silver laced are usually black body, golden black on the head and lighter silver wings.
