Cochin Thread!!!

Subscribing. I just got my silkies to start breeding and I was also considering Cochins when I was trying to pick the right breed and now I am wondering if I should just get some and start breeding me also. What color is everyone's favorite I like the partridge but i don't know where I would be able to find any does anyone know a breeder in he state of Pennsylvania a thanks.

I love Mottled and BBS, such pretty colors

I have 2 hens 1 named Clover the other one Percy
Percy is kind of shy but she got broody along with clover
Clover is pretty loud but she's good

Blues,blue splash and mottled! Hope to breed mottled next year. My LF male hasn't been able to do his deed with any success. Bummed leg but he tries still poor guy.

@Rhonda Red how far from Ohio are you? Look at Meyer Hatchery they have some Cochins.I forget colors. Also on Facebook S&C Animal and Bird Farm. I know they have Partridge. They specialize in Cochins.

Are you talking to me but it's Roada Red, and I am about 4 or more hours from there but I am a lot closer to Lancaster fancey fowl but wih the new owner I don't know about ordering just yet from there.

Yes Roada to you. New phone keeps changing my spelling! Take a look at Meyers they are a great bunch of people. I don't know if S&C ship I just drive over there. Just trying to help is all.

Yes but do you know if Lancaster fancey fowl would have them as I might want to breed them so I don't know if about getting hem from there. That's why I keep mentioning Lancaster fancey fowl being they have show quality stock. And is closer to me than Meyers. Plus I don't know how many they allow you to by minimum I know when i was looking I think it was 10 -15 through most hatcherys.
