I'll be getting a pair of Cochins from the fall chicken swap here, but I want to sell one of my splash roos before I get another roo so I don't have too many.

The second rooster has a better head and I prefer his coloring, so I would sell the first one, but that's just my personal preference.

I was thinking my girls feathered slower, but they jumble together in my brain too, so I wouldn't guess on sex, but on color maybe black mottled? Any idea what color the parents were?

Unfortunately no, these chicks were from a hatchery and this was a mystery chick. I'm not even positive it is a cochin now since someone on another thread said it looks a light brahma. I thought it would be fun getting a mystery chick for my kids but it is turning out to be confusing.

This boy However the 2nd one has crappy wing drop. So, its a tough one. Leg coloring? or This boy Here are some of my Splash hens I have with them so you get an idea of what I'll be breeding with them.

Its hard to say, both have faults.

He's got such a personality, he was a little butt when I first got him, he quickly learned that I'm boss tho lol
