Cochin Thread!!!

I do show my birds. That male was Champion Asiatic at the 2010 Cochin National in West Springfield, MA this past weekend. I don't sell eggs though. Pretty much get in and out of breeding season as fast as possible. I usually have extra birds in the fall. I'll be setting up my breeding matchups this weekend and should have eggs in the incubator in a couple weeks. I delayed it a bit this year because of the National. I hope to hatch around 75 Large Buffs this year.

This young frizzle cockerel belongs to my son, Ryan

Ryan is 20 years old and is disabled. He cannot talk or walk well and is mentally challenged.

But he loves our chickens and can do the sign for chicken.....

And this cockerel, named "Fred" belongs to Ryan!!

Fred makes Ryan smile
