MJ - Sorry I'm late to the party! I wanted to tell you I think your breeding pens look fantastic!

Thank You, I finally got what I think I need for my modest projects. Hope my Cochins are happy and comfortable.

Here is a view of the whole set up. I also have 3, 8'x10' metal pens and a great little barn that used to be a playhouse. I would like to eventually put my brooders in it.

It is on a slight slope and that made the pen building awkward. The chickens have leveled it out inside each breeding pen.

I hatched some shipped eggs in March and now they are maturing into what I think are very pretty birds. I don't really know the proper names for their colors. The white are splash but the darker one I have no clue. I just like it

Looks like Lemon-Blue to me, and I suspect that the splash is also Lemon-blue. Do you have a side shot of the splash bird? I'm basing my guess on the belief I'm seeing some buff colored feathers on the body.

Hi everyone - I just picked up two bantam Cochins - one of them frizzle feathered. Can you tell me what the other one's color will be? My guess is Mille Fleur, but I'm new to cochins so just guessing.
