those are EGGS she's leaning on. still in the hatcher. i don't like taking chicks out when i have active pips, unless they've been in there a while and are rocking everything else around. her hatchmates consist of 2 coturnix quail, 2 mille/partridge cochin and 2 ee/dorking crosses. with more cochins (3 self blue split and 6 mille split eggs) and a turkey still waiting their turn.Congrats Karen! Keep us posted as to its development. Now put it back in the brooder so it can finish drying!!!![]()
So, did anybody here know if you cross a golden laced with a black you will get somewhat partridge. Here a link to show some of you. Not my bird but I tried it and got a pullet that looks identical to a partridge. If you would like i could upload some pics.![]()
