I have a couple of questions.

1) At what age can you be sure your LF Cochins have vulture hocks?
Mine will be 16 weeks on Monday and I think they all have them except a couple of my splashes.

2) At 16 weeks are the pullets to young to handle a cockerel of the same age trying to mate them?
I caught one of my cockerels yesterday trying to mate a pullet. It did not seem like she was objecting to it too much. She does seem to be more red in her comb and waddles than the other girls.

Who is going to make it to the Ohio Nationals at Columbus Nov 10? I entered 10 birds and am planning to attend.

I wont be showing, but I recently discovered that I may be able to attend this show. I sure hope so, would love to finally meet some of you crazy people.
