I got chicks 5 weeks ago and they are around 5 weeks now. We got one chick from the bantam bin. They were no specific breeds listed on the label for the bin just "miniatures of popular breeds". When we first got him he was tiny and by far the smallest chick out of the batch we got (11 chicks). The size difference is similar to the bottom picture of the two chicks but with him being slightly bigger than the white chick. He along with a few others still had their egg tooth when we brought them home.

Currently he is pretty big and is now the size or even slightly bigger than the other chicks. He also seems to be a bit wider and rounder than the other chicks rather than taller. We have leghorns, orpingtons, easter eggers, a golden lace wyandotte, and a new hampshire for reference. I'm unsure if the reason why he has grown so much is because he is a cockerel or if it is his breed. He is also a bit whiter in person and the white shows through the most on his head.
