Hello,

My Hen, Francis, became broody, which I tried to break, because it was the dead of winter, but she was dead set on being a mama! šŸ˜‚
Anyway, these two beautiful babies are the result of her persistence! They were born on 1/6. The Barred Rock is named Lollipop and the other, maybe Red Sex Link is named Sunshine. I really am hoping that they are both pullets because our city has an ordinance against Roosters.. If one is a cockerel, he may just have to live in my house. 🤣 Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Dana

The barred rock is a male.

Thanks everyone! Any suggestions on how to tell Lollipop no Crowing so I can keep him around? Lol I sure love both of them so much!

The pullet is a buff orpington or BO mix. The cockerel is not a purebred barred rock due to his silver leakage, however he could be a barred rock x buff orpington.
Thank you! I’m quite certain that she said her Rooster is a Buff Orpington.
