We have many places North or South of us here we are wet sick of the rain endless this year

I ordered a dog dryer not quite as powerful as my old ones but will blow these two coats out a bit better if I can dremel their nails I can blow dry them air not heat

I have been wondering when mother nature is going to find her marbles... Not today, apparently
Too much of anything is not a good thing.

I think we all do it because they become a part of us-not a pet, but a family member

Well made it home no worse for the wear Welcome @aart to our Coffee club good to see you here @Grammy60 We all have those losses so know how that pain stays but so does the love we felt for them

Yes, the pain never goes away for us, but we remember all the good times together and her picture is in my wallet, so she is with me always

We know from the minute we let them into our hearts, that one day they will break them.

The joy we gain by loving them will, in time, once again outweigh the sadness they can bring to our lives.

Definitely a big part of daily life, the only other beating heart in the house here.
Much of it is habit...I miss the good stuff, but not the less pleasant aspects.
Doubt I'll ever have another dog, he was the last of 3.

Std. Poodle from SPCA, there were 5 six month old pups there.

Your so right, we hadn't thought about getting another dog when we did, but someone needed to rehome Todd and we had predators getting the chickens, so we went and met him and brought him home.
