Tell me about it.

I see my OD on Monday. Gonna talk to him about the diet(s). I know I'm not supposed to eat red meat, seeds, seeded fruit or veggies with tough skins with the diverticulosis. But they found that I have non-alcoholic fatty liver disease and that diet is supposed to exclude white flour, sugar....everything I can eat with the diverticulosis as snack food more or less to hold my weight steady.

Plus they say to lose 10% of your body weight to reverse the fat in your liver. Since it is a reversible condition.

I weigh about 130 pounds right now and one doc told me to hold my weight there. It was perfect for my body frame, height (5'2 barely) and age. He said if you get sick or have surgery you want reserve because you will lose weight if that happens.

So if I lose 10% of my body weight 10-15 pounds let's say taking account I always gain 5 pounds over the winter, that would put me at about 120 pounds. Under what the doctor recommended as my stable weight.

I think I'll ask him if I can eat chick starter.

Good morning! About to have my coffee and do some paperwork this morning. Not yesterday but the day before, I poured myself a cup of very hot tea and when I sat down some spilled onto my thigh. Boy did that hurt! Got a minor burn from it.
Ask your doctor for rx silvadene.

Afternoon all.

Coffee done for the day, switched to sweet tea. I live on the stuff in the afternoon.

Raining here. Our spring rains are finally arrived with a vengance.
Have you tried iced green tea? I live on that. Less sugar than sweet tea.

I know, if i eat what i should for ibs, i end up with not much to eat. Then it's other foods i shouldn't eat because of other conditions. Really having a hard time right now, and to complicate things my brother had mother's trust amended. Life is so far from fair.
Just really feeling beat on. Plus we are losing money hand over fist on the stock market. Prices are up everywhere you go. We need a different riding lawn mower. And it's raining outside.
Maybe after supper i will go work on cleaning up the workshop. It's a mess. I have a few building projects i want to work on.
