!! DH always does this with our Turkey and it tastes great. I find Turkey a really dry bird but this method really does keep it moist and tender.

Good morning chicken wranglers
I'm jumping in on the turkey wagon.I love to cook turkey ok=n the grill on a low fire with berr and real butter and baste it frequently for about 4 hours.I know I've said trhis befor but as usual i will repeat myself.It is so good ,l;ots of times I rub mesquite rub inside the skin and smoke it in hickory chips for the exquisite pallet sensation. A subtle stimulation of mouth watering salivation that causes one to drool outright even in front of company!

Happy T-Day all. Maine, grandson, sil deepfried Turkey. Oh! Well! new families new traditions. I can remember 42 yrs ago figuring out who's traditions we would use where and what new ones we would create.

It would be ever so nice to have you all over for any type of roasted bird.We could all enjoy eachothers presense and trade expiriences as long as the mood held out.

Seriously, that sounds delicious, Karl! It's even warmer down here!
I have spent all morning chopping and slicing, and now I'm taking a break before finishing the cleaning. Whew.
As it turned out, BF's father is having a bout of virtigo, which lasts for weeks for him, apparently. They don't know why he has these spells, and now they aren't going to make it tommorow. So the out-laws will be joining us, instead. Whatever will bewill be......

Yesterday i baked a apple cranberry cake, praline pumkin cheesecake, and my grandmothers pecan pie. Sure hope people show up for my little 'dessert party'.
