Morning people,
I hope this finds everyone doing well. Congratulation on your b-day and wedding anniversary Karl. We had our 33th back in April.
Karl, I'm married, so does that count as a stress test?
Hey Ranger, compare the combs on your birds. The roo should be a bit more showy.
We never made it on our maiden bike ride. It was a different day that day. All these choices we made, led us to a couple that was, well heading the wrong way to where they want to be. We woke up that morning and decided to go hiking instead (1). We picked a spur of the moment mountain (2). The better half didn't want to push my knees. So when we came to a 4 way junction we had a choice. Head back the way we came, or down through the valley, or up a small mountain, or Blackhead. We decided Blackhead (3). Part way up, we stopped at a overlook for lunch (it's all about the food). One of my knees was starting to bother me, I popped some vitamin "m" (Motrin). After a bit, I convinced the better half to keep going (4). As we were approaching the summit, we came across this couple. They sort of had that "off" look about them, so we started talking with them. Come to find out they were a bit displaced. So we turned them around and brought them back to the intersection they were looking for (it was on the other side of the summit). Their map were useless, so I showed them where we are on my map. I had to take the compass out to show them their bearings etc. After about 15 - 20 minutes we got them orientated to the right direction. We offer to take them back, but they said they were ok. So I offered them my map if they mail it back to me (which they did). We made sure they had water and showed them were springs are on the map. Offered some oranges and then we departed. 2 days later, my map was in our mailbox.
Enjoy your day, it's sunny here
