Good morning chicken wranglers,
Great story Q.
We went and got the foals this weekend. 4 very pretty little Tennessee walkers. Oops 3 walkers and 1 paint. ! buckskin 1 bay 1brown and the paint is black and white. We drove from IL. to Oh. and back Friday and Saturday got home, and worked all day on fence.
I must be the wickedest man in the world. back to work now .
God Bless !

Good morning chicken wranglers,
I finally got the wife to stay home and pick cucumbers weed and can . A real down home adventure for she and the children.
We will see how much weeding gets done by the children, the onions are in great need, the potato's need it but the will be done in about 2 weeks so pulling could just up root some of the upper taters .
We worked with the horses last night . Out of 4 , 2 are very good ,1 is fair "and as soon as he is clipped he will be gooder, The paint is a mare with a poor attitude. We will see what it takes to bring her into good stead, Discipline and treats or treats and discipline?
Fill me in, My flock is enjoying the spoils of the garden this summer how bout ya'lls?
God Bless!

Our's are too. The salads they enjoyed greatly, until we replanted them and covered them. The cabbages, same story. The potato leaves seem to be tasty. Carrots and onions are left alone. We won't be eating any sweet peas, as their leaves where tasty. The beans are protected a bit, since what's left of the peas is still taking the worst hit, but they are attracting attention too. The tomato pots had to be raised, as their leaves were delicious. Chili and egg plant too. The mint and thyme are left alone though, and the basil they can not reach.

We stained our deck yesterday, that ended up taking most of the day since I had foolishly thought that 2 litres of clear oil would be enough. We ran out half way through, and as we went to the hardware store, we decided to finish the clear oil treatment, and then do another layer of grey oil, as the fake brown color of the heat treated wood was brought out by the clear oil. Turned out pretty nicely.
