Bad morning here. Woke up to find my husband's cat had passed away. He is not up yet and I do not look forward to telling him. We knew he was acting funny , listless , would not stand up , but he was alert and purring , no idea what happened .

Gonna be rough on DH , he has had Smidgen since he was a wee kitten , he was only about 7 years old .

Opa that little mini coop is adorable.
It's almost exactly what I was planning but without the nest boxes on the side.
I waited to see yours before starting mine. I love to build things, I'm just not as talented as you. ...lol But I think it will turn out fine. I'll post a pic or two when I'm done.
It was a busy day yesterday and I was out as soon as my head hit the pillow last night. So I'm feeling great today.

Morning all!

Working on my second cup. I, too, feel pretty great this morning. I met up with Wynette yesterday and picked up my new pair of blue wheaten Ameraucanas...they're stunning, I must say.

So I woke up to the sound of beautiful crowing this morning. Mind you, up until now I've only had bantam roos that were crowing. So this big guy gave me a nice wake up call

...it was wonderful.

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Not doing much around here, as usual. Just enjoying the country life.

Opa...you must've had something that was keeping your mind busy last night. Maybe it was your upcoming trip with the ex's coop...might have some anxiety about seeing her if she gives you so much grief.

Carole...hope your tummy ache eases.

The morning here in the desert is great so far. I am planning on having breakfast burritos made with my eggs of course. They sure are tasty, add a little green sauce.
I am planning in hanging out on the Ranch, slow cooking a pork loin on the grill.

I guess I stirred up the worms yesterday Ill post that pic. soon probably mon. or tues I hope it will suffice. I ment no harm nor was I trying to offend any Sam .E. fans just thought it would be humorous. My mirror may lie to me but Ill be really upset if I find out my W.W. has been in on the delusion for the last 15 years. Roasting my hog for the family reunion tomorrow. All the family is invited 1st, one in 60 years According to my 70 year old Pa. My stupid mule escaped again last night. My daughter and I played round up on the quads . Ran her in at a record speed. I was trying to put upo a wagon load of hay and she darted through the gate what a pain she is becoming.
