Coffee's ready...

Good Morning from Arizona, It still looks overcast out there. I can see some blue sky in places. Temps stayed in the 40 range overnight. I did not turn the heat light on for the baby's last night. I have left the door open somewhat so that they can go to bed and get up and out in the pen all by their selves. They are teen agers now i guess. Lulie-Lu-Li crowed first time on Christmas Eve.

I have a problem I need help with. I started a Sultan sub Breed page. I was posting different age photos. By Mistake (operator error) and posted a pic of my dog and a quad inside a Toy Hauler. Now I can't remove it. Does anyone know how to remove it? Please help if you do. How dumb for the whole world to see a Basset dog and not a Sultan Chicken.

We really lucked out on the Recliner Chair. The lady got a new white Leather, huge sectional with recliners built in. The Recliner is Cho. Brown Suede Cloth. Same fabric as my couch. My couch is a med. gray. They both look like leather. The chair is a Lazy Boy. It doesn't have a mark on it. Looks like it was not used much. They did not have kids either. The lady was changing her furniture as she was bored with what she had (2 years old). I will donate my 2 chairs. One chair is red plaid and the the other is blue plaid. The red has a matching ottoman. They look really good and have no tears and are clean. Removing the two chairs will give me more room in the living room.

I got 4 eggs yesterday. I have been keeping the pen closed on the big kids pen until after the girls are finished laying heir eggs. I think that the basset dog going in the pen as well as my cat has been making a problem. The cat doesn't mess with the Chickens, they go after him and Willy chases him. He skirts around them. Sometimes he jumps out of the bushes at them and then runs like heck when the turn on him. He wants them to play with him. He will be laying in the sun and some of the chickens will be laying close to him and some lay by the dog. Go figure. I still don't trust Archie to go in the baby pen yet.

Stay warm and dry all. Talk more later.

Where is everyone? Anyone drinking coffee and having a chat?

HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Hay please don't forget to vote for Anne today. only about 4 days left. Please help her.

Have a great day

I was just thinking " Wonder if the coffee is ready yet" while scrolling thru the recent posts when I read "Coffee's ready".
I thought I was seeing things for a moment.

Brrrrr...it's been so cold today. 10 degrees on the mountain where I work and 24 here at home.
The wind has been gusting all day. Blah! Sounds like a winter storm for us for New Year's Eve and Day. I heard it could be a whopper, if it tracks the right way.

Was out on my treestand last night. No deer sightings. Was beautiful out there anywhere.

Have you all gotten the BYC cookbook? It's so awesome!!!!!! They did a great job, it's just
beautiful. Oh, so is the calendar! I've got to try Opa's cookies and a Mediterranean Salad by ranchhand. I've go so many recipes to try it's not even funny!

blah looking. Cell phone cameras are only so good.

Sissy, I've been trying to find a picture of Benny my favorite cat. I had one on the computer, but do you think I can find where it's hidden on this thing? My scanner won't communicate with my computer so I can't just scan it again.

Still enjoying chocolate almond coffee in the morning, green tea at work, mint tea at night.

Good morning from Arizona,

It is 35 and partly cloudy this morning. I am in no hurry to go outside. Just poured me another cup of coffee, and thought I'd visit for awhile.

I have not looked at the cookbook yet. Sounds like I had better take a look at both.

Scoop, that cho almond coffee does sound good. I think I will take a look in the pantry. I did get some different flavors in a Gift, that I have not tried yet. Hummmmmmm. Have you tried out the new camera yet?

I made a large pot of Turkey, Barley, Veg soup yesterday. We ate a big bowl full for Supper last night with some warm W/W rolls. Sure was good. I will seal-a-meal most of it and freeze. I just love having different soups in the freezer for just the right days to have it. My broth was from cooking down the bones. I roasted some red and yellow peppers to add at the end of cooking time. The soup is a 2 day process. But so worth it.

Good morning chicken wranglers
It is snowing and 28. Im looking at some farm ground, about 240 acres. Im praying the bank and the w.w. will go along with my plans for purchaseing the ground, I have a cash renter that will make the payment "almost only the taxes short" but it is good ground and God is not making new ground in my area.So Iwill give this a try. By the way coffe is good ,deer season starts at dawn ,and have a great week end. I wont be checking in until next year! God Bless you all!

Good morning!

Yes, Scoop, I got the new BYC cookbook. It's beautifully done! I have given several as Christmas presents - to my non-chicken raising friends.

Karl - I hope you are able to buy the land. You are right, they are not making anymore of it, and it should be in the hands of good stewards. I cringe whenever I see rich, flat farmland become the site for strip malls and other development.

Morning chicken wranglers
Weather is promising I saw only one little doe this morning.I think with the snow and the moonlight all the deer are out at night and it will be hard to get one today. Tomoorow is full moon, but cloudy. Clouds dont really matter when it is so white everywhere, the light is distributed anyway.Well happy new year, tonopah, kismet ,sissy, opah, scoop, and all you other chicken wranglers on this thread.God bless!
