Coffee's ready...

Morning folks, it is still morning isn't,

Would have been here sooner but wathced that weight loss video and it was longer than need be. My attitude is just tell me how much.

So any how, Oesdog not all roos crow from morning to night. I think many crow in competition to another roo. I know my leghorn crows and then the ones in the coop can hear him even though he is in an enclosed room 100 feet away, and they crow. So maybe you need to keep just one roo and the right breed. Not all breeds crow like there is no tomorrow. My Delawares seem to be ok. I've got 6 plus the leghorn and the Amer. 6 of these guys are in together. Though I will confess they will be eaten when the butcher man calls. Lord let it be soon.

Math , didn't read back but hope everything gets better. Lord knows I hate doctors. I see my GP, ENT, 3 orthos and the Dermo........... you know. Oh and forgot the Uro guy. I will not have another bibopsy, period. Course things could be worse, I could have to give up my chickens. Thank God I don't have to.

OK, folks mails in and I gotta get a move on. Places to go and people to annoy.

Love ya all

I've been nursing a very poorly girl back to health over the past few weeks. She's had a serious bout of Bronchitis, when the vets did swabs for bacteria there was so much it was off the scale. It was touch and go for a while and she needed antibiotics and steroids to get her better. But here she is.

She is just beginning to find her appetite again and she's lost a great deal of weight. But with the aid of pigeon conditioner which has aniseed oil and lots of different grains in, home made fat feeder, meal worm crumble and not to mention sunflower seeds she's really starting to fight back now.

She is beautiful! What breed is she? Brahma? That and/or Sussex will be my next ones. Just as soon as I move to that farm.........

Had a difficult day yesterday. I was told my son is basically being kicked out of school for his pants wetting. The teacher spoke to the principal, who wants him out, and said he really shouldn't have started in August if he wasn't fully potty trainined. He had an accident DURRING the interview/ tour of the school!!!! It was not a secret, I was honest and said we had been working hard all summmer on it but he was not quite perfect at it yet. I had no idea it wouldn't get much better six months later!

I'm mad at the school and actually don't really care if he stays there, but I hate to pull him out of a place he loves and he has all his friends there. He even had a freind just start today that used to go to day care with him - part of the reason he is there is that my son was there, and he is really anxious about new people and places, so his parents wanted a familiar face for him. They are best buds. She says for now we will "play it by ear". I think I'll go ahead and call a few other preschools.
I called the pediatrician and she's out of the country until Monday.

Anyway, gotta get busy. Does anyone else find that a majority of their dreams involve chickens now? Mine do. It's really weird.
Have a good day!

That gazebo is awesome! Wow. I kinda miss having a handy guy around. My DH is wonderful but handy is NOT one of his traits...

My DS and I had to meet a "probation officer" yesterday about him having a lighter. So now he's enrolled in a "program" so that he doesn't have to go to court. He has to attend a class called Choices to help him understand the consequences of various decisions. He has to read Sean Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens and do a book report on the 7 habits. We've got the book on order from Amazon - should arrive tomorrow.

DH is back to work today - I asked him when was the last time he had 2 whole weeks of vacation *without* a trip invovled. Turns out - never! We stayed home and just relaxed for the holidays and he had a bunch of vacation accrued so he took the time. He really liked it! Of course, it was a little bit weird for me. I'm not used to him being around so it threw off all my routines. I *like* having him around - just wasn't used to it. Kept thinking it was the weekend.

So today I'm back to more of a routine day. Thank goodness! I'm looking forward to finally having the house to myself for a few hours!
