Since we are all caught up on pepper I also heard that the pepper will cure the coccidia if your girls have it or prevent it if they don't. Have any of you guys heard this?

Funny story about Hawaii, Karl. And yes, I had heard that too about coccidia. I treated my girls a few months ago for it after the little white one died. Still no pick up in the egg production. I've been giving them about a tablespoon for two days worth of feed. Maybe I need to increase that.

The weather here is unseasonably warm, sunny with a high of 80. Doesn't quite put one in the Christmas spirit. I recorded a series about the Russian wilderness to watch in the hopes that just the sight of all that snow and bitter cold temps will make me feel colder, but it hasn't worked. I refuse to turn the air back on.

Our Christmas celebration starts as of tonight at a party with our friend's, where Santa will be making an appearance. I'll be back after all the craziness is over, so have a lovely Christmas with your loved ones.

We all survived the Christmas holiday now let the new year begin.I am cheating on the resolution because I have already started,by not consuming beer.From now until I shed these extra pounds it will be coffee,water,soda"diet of course",and wine; only on friday when me wife and I get our relaxation hour,Please Lord Give me the strength to make it true and not just another failed attempt.There now I have beared all before ya'll and don't trie to hold me to it because that would just be naggin and Lord knows I have a mother and a wife for all that!
Anyhow I recieved a sweatsuit for Christmas.It has to be a hint!
All Ya'll fill me in what were the spoils?

Glad you posted Karl

I got an Incubator for Christmas and that can only mean one thing - MORE CHICKENS!!!!!!

I still have 60 bottles of beer Karl - they were not ready maybe for new years? THe wine was lovely and we even cooked the Turkey in it and it was lovely and moist.

Hope everyone else posts soon and lets us know how you all did and what you all got!!!!

Good morning, peeps! I had a busy but very nice Christmas. We went to our last Christmas party last night, and I must say I'm a bit over Christmas at this point. Maybe I'll start putting away decorations today. That was our fifth Christmas celebration, two with friends and three with family. I think i've gained four pounds this week alone with all the party food!
I got a nice coat, ski gloves for our trip to Colorado in March, and a few games for the game system that was a family gift. And some very nice bath salts and lotion, and diamond stud earrings (cubic zirconia, not real ones, but quite pretty and an unexpected surprise). I love gifts that are surprises that you didn't know you wanted until you get them.
My brother is still here visiting from Minneapolis, and I'm hoping to take a little hike at one of yhe nature parks with him this morning. Walk off some of these calories! Then later I'm making him my shrimp corn chowder and stone crab claws. He likes to eat as much seafood as he can before going home.
