That sounds like a really cool place to check out! That would be a doable traveling distance for us. If you were on the northwest side of GA I'd say you should join our group as we're technically right on the TN border. I'm not familiar with all of the places they go because they are just now picking back up into the swing of things. But last weekend they went to Chunky Gal Mtn and this weekend's trip is closer to middle tn. And a swap meet coming up in the fall.That sounds so fun!! We had to cancel a few planned rock and fossil hounding expeditions as well. I really want to go to Shark Tooth Island. We still plan on going but our priorities definitely shifted since then so I don't know when we'll get to go.
I have been doing some fun swaps with others that have been hunting for stones and fossils though! I received some ocean picture stone from Canada, petrified wood from Texas, and Hourglass selenite from Oklahoma in some fun trades!Swapping is almost as much fun and hunting for them yourself!
