I found all of these In a huge dirt/clay/rock pile next to my creek where the land was dug into in order to create a bridge over the creek for the cows to cross, that still allowed water to flow under. The earth was dug out there and so a lot of the bottom layer was brought to the very top. With it, came all the fossils! Apparently the whole area was underwater at one point (atleast judging by all these shells it was ) because around the whole creek I’ve found tons of rocks just like this, full of things. Anyway, I keep some of the more interesting ones. Muddy clay is a pain to clean off, but I do my best!

Im not sure what the bone is from. It was literally sticking straight up in the pile of clay. My guess is some predator buried something there a while ago, and After a while it ended up at the top again. I wonder what animal it’s from though.

Here is my Mummifed Ball Python, which I keep in a jar. You know, because everyone keeps mummy pythons in mason jars right? It was behind the door panel of my dads corvette, which he took off to fix the window. He was definitely shocked (and thought it was still alive at first) but he let me have it when he realized it was long-dead!

 Ok, WHOA on the ball python, lol! I would have PASSED OUT if I saw that when I opened a door panel and I'm not exactly afraid of snakes...but still!
Those fossils are AWESOME! So cool that you found such an assortment so close to home!

I pick up rocks too. It's quite a crick in the neck.

Daisy chain slab.

You can pick up fossils, minerals, crystals all over where I live.

My rock pet Marvin. He's turned in to a weird Polly pocket type thing, I'm always looking for rocks that look like furniture for him. I found an vintage style TV rock for him the other day, it was half oval with a large orange spot for a screen and 2 small dots for dials. I don't know where it is now.

Marvin has a flying saucer.

A cool striped rock. I used to have bins of rocks, but I've slowly thrown lesser specimens out in the flower beds over the years. And I'm not sure some of my nicer ones are because I moved a lot of stuff when we replaced the flooring.

Beautiful! We don't have much in the way of rocks in my immediate area but you can find some nice fossils if you know where to look! We're basically in an old swamp here, lol. I have some wonderful mines about a 5-hour drive from where I am!

I actually just bought some rainbow obsidian to throw in my rock tumbler, lol. Yours is WAY prettier!
