Well I’d def cut back on treats and monitor what else he’s eating . Although he shouldn’t get too cold in winter. lol

He and Duchess don't get treats unless he's sharing an apple with one of the chickens. He only gets feed.

They do okay with the chickens? Sure are pretty.

For the most part they do but one of our hens won't stop going after Colonel. I've had to "save" him from her a few times.
I'm more surprised that our 2 cockerels haven't started fighting with him but I think they may be scared of him due to him being larger than them.

My 10 yr old rooster in my avatar has all the ducks scared of him he just jumps at them. He is only respectful of the 2 geese.

Colonel grabbed the food container from me and spilled most of it all over the ground. He definitely made everyone happy

My drake can be a pain in the butt. He’ll also knock over a bucket of feed if he gets a chance an stick his head in the egg basket. I have to make sure things are up out of reach.

Ducks are happy today. It's pouring buckets here and now our whole backyard is swampy from the rain.

Colonel pretended to be dead when I went out to feed everyone. Scared me half to death! As soon as I dropped the feed container, he jumped up and ran over with Duchess right behind him.
