Colored Egg June Adopt-An-Egg Hatch Along!

Pics
it is amazing!!!!!!!!! and I must admit I am a bit jealous! LOL
I’m sorry @junior67 it must be so much harder to candle when your hens are guarding them! The eggs are on a shelf near my kitchen, and I just keep walking by and staring at them like something is going to happen. 😂 (twiddles thumbs)

So I wanted to clear out some space in the incubator, so I candled again, and can now wait til day 7 to candle and mark air cells. I had 5 clear and one super early quitter, confirmed by cracking the eggs after removing them. I was pretty confident that nothing was going on, and figured if I was wrong on the first one I could put the rest back. Here are the candling pics for anyone interested or who might be learning like me. It is Day 4.

Wow they are looking great. Good to see you have some that are porous that are growing.

The porous ones always make me nervous, especially since they are harder to see in. I’m sad about the one scrambled Orpington, but shocked that was the only true damage. My fingers are crossed for you, also. Will you try candling this weekend at all? You’ll be gone for a bit, right?
